Daycare
Our Daycare Program offers a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 3 to 6, operating weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for 48 weeks of the year (closed for one month over Christmas). With a play-based curriculum, the program encourages exploration, creativity, and the development of foundational social skills.
Through activities such as imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and creative arts, children develop essential routines and behaviours that prepare them for a successful learning journey. Our caring and highly trained educators ensure each child’s individual needs are met, fostering a sense of confidence, curiosity, and joy in every day.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten Program is designed for children aged 3½ to 4½ (the year before Prep) and is from 8:30am-2:30pm, providing a structured approach to prepare them for school readiness. The program runs five days a fortnight, totalling 600 hours annually, and focuses on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to help children build self-awareness, empathy, and positive relationships.
In addition to SEL, children engage in early literacy and numeracy activities, which are seamlessly integrated into hands-on and play-based learning. This program is specifically designed to develop independence, confidence, and key skills, ensuring children are ready for a seamless transition to Prep.
Our kindergarten program also offers before and after-school care to accommodate busy family schedules, providing a safe and engaging environment for children beyond regular classroom hours.
Kindy + Long Day Care
Our Kindy + Long Day Care program provides the flexibility families need. Children attend Kindy from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm, then seamlessly transition into Long Day Care until 5:00 pm. This extended option ensures a consistent, nurturing environment, allowing children to continue learning, playing, and engaging in a familiar setting. Perfect for working families needing full-day care while giving their child the benefits of a structured Kindy program.
Purpose Built Facilities
At Little Gems, our purpose-built facilities are designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in children aged 3 to 6 years. Every aspect of our centre has been thoughtfully planned to create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive.
Our spacious classrooms are 20% larger than standard requirements, offering plenty of room for children to explore and engage in hands-on activities. The outdoor play areas are 50% larger than regulations, providing ample space for physical activity, social interaction, and discovery. From sandpits to play equipment, our outdoor spaces are designed to encourage exploration and develop gross motor skills in a fun and natural setting.
