The College is constantly expanding our involvement and endeavours in the areas of innovation and technology.
We compete in a number of different competitions during the year which challenge our students to stretch themselves and think outside the box. We have been consistently improving and competing well at events such as the RACQ Technology Challenge, Aurecon Bridge Building and regional Chess Tournaments. This year we hope to increase our involvement and success in all of these events. |
RACQ Technology ChallengeThe RACQ Technology Challenge includes the design, building and racing of the Smilie Pushcarts (Years 5,6), Solar Boats (Years 5/6) & (Senior), Robotics (Senior) and Human-Powered Vehicles

Bridge BuildingAurecon runs an annual school bridge building competition involving year 8 and 9 students in Australia and year 9 and 10 students in New Zealand, to raise awareness of the engineering profession among students.

Chess Club and CompetitionsCertain students are eligible to attend the Chess Club as part of the ‘Gifted and Talented Program’, Teachers may notify students who are considered to be gifted, talented, highly performing, finishing tasks early, demonstrating strong improvement or other such forms of academic achievement.
