Preparatory Education Program
At Emerald Christian College the Preparatory year is designed to prepare young children for success with their learning. The learning environment is caring and nurturing with a rigours academic program which provided students with a strong foundation for future learning at school.
During the Preparatory year students are taught the Australian Curriculum from a Christian worldview, with a priority on literacy and numeracy development because these are the foundations on which further learning is built. Both literacy and numeracy capabilities are reinforced and strengthened through learning in all areas of the curriculum.
