BYOD  - Students Responsibilities

Students will be responsible for ensuring that:

• they use the device in accordance with College policies and procedures including the Standards of Conduct and our behaviour expectations
• they have their device with them in class
• there is always space on the device for the storage of school-related files
• the device is charged
• device has the required apps installed and texts available
• damage is promptly reported to Parents or Carers for remedy   

Students who fail to meet their responsibilities in regard to their device will be dealt with via the College’s discipline processes. ​Students may be instructed to delete applications if used inappropriately while at the College and the device may be confiscated in the interim.  ​Devices will not be used during breaks unless under the supervision of a staff member.  

Parents / Carers

When the device is not on campus, parents/carers will be responsible for supporting their children in the device’s use and care.
