Scholarships
Conditions for Scholarships
Each year, Emerald Christian College offers a limited number of scholarship opportunities in Academic, Character, Sporting and Creative and Performing Art Excellence. Applicants are selected on the basis of their application criteria, interview and supporting documentation. Scholarships are offered for up to three years and can cover up to 50% of tuition fees. The criteria for the four categories are listed below.
Scholarships Applications and Closing Information
Scholarships for 2022 open on the 5th October 2021. Application forms are available from the Office and at the link below.

Academic Excellence Scholarships
Students who demonstrate qualities compatible with the ethos of the College and can provide evidence of academic achievement and capability are invited to apply.
Character Excellence Scholarships
Students who demonstrate qualities compatible with the ethos of the College and their contribution and/or ability in areas such as Christian mission or humanitarian work, the overall pastoral influence of their peers and service to the community, such as helping in Chapel are invited to apply.
Sporting Excellence Scholarships
Students who demonstrate qualities compatible with the ethos of the College and who achieve at a representative level or above in a sport supported by Emerald Christian College are invited to apply.
Creative and Preforming Art Excellence Scholarships
Students who demonstrate qualities compatible with the ethos of the College and their God-given talent in either Art or the Performing Arts (such as Drama), based on a portfolio of work such as previous roles in musicals, choirs/ensembles or artworks are invited to apply.
