At ECC some challenges are set in the classroom, some are in the playground and some further afield. Students can learn an instrument, go hiking, run fast at districts, do community service, learn scripture verses, be part of cultural events, participate in technology challenges, play chess for the school, and many more activities that count towards earning their "College Colours".
There are a number of badges to be earnt in a variety of areas of interest and students are encouraged to rise to these challenges.
Primary Teachers track badges manually on charts in the classroom. Secondary students must apply online - this supersedes the old badge booklet.

All RISE Teachers are familiar with activities and the application process and will have been encouraging students to keep their information up to date. It is often very difficult for students to remember all the things that they have done early in the year.
